Anacardic Acid Based Phenol finds application in the chemical industry in resins, coatings, frictional materials and surfactants. Phenol is used to make phenalkamines, which are used as curing agents for the durable epoxy coatings which are used on concrete floors. Phenol is obtained from anacardic acid, the main component of cashew nutshell liquid. Anacardic Acid Based Phenol is used for making raw materials for oil soluble resins, lamination, surface coating and paints.
